Food Finds - Weight Watchers Giant Latte Ice Cream Bar

Week 16 Preview - Self Monitoring Successfully

"Research has shown that tracking works. Self Monitor on a regular basis and you will increase the likelihood that you will see success on the scale."

Successful members develop the "Monitor Yourself Habit" and know their efforts are helped when they make themselves accountable.

Self Monitoring means being aware of what and how much you are eating and how much you are exercising. It also means noticing the difference these things make to your progress.

You can still take advantage of the FREE 8 week online walk/run training program.

Remember to treat yourself to some beneficial rewards. Here are a couple ideas:

A Weight Watcher Pedometer. This will challenge your to do more steps/miles and Activity Points.

The Walking Kit that we sell in the meeting room has 10 minute and up to 40 minute walking routines that can be done indoors, as well as out doors.

SFC Week 2 - Trivia Question 2

Week 15 Preview - One Step At A Time

This week we are going to use The Story boarding Tool to help you move more and accomplish other goals.

This week's topic also incorporates the 5K Promotions, sponsored by Weight Watchers. Weight Watchers is teaming up with the Active Network (active.com) to provide members with training and encouragement to get started and keep going all the way to 5 kilometers (3.1 miles).

Weight watchers is providing an 8 week training program booklet to walk a 5 k. If you register on Active.com, You will receive a free 8 week online walking or running training program with daily email training reminders and an online training calendar. ($19.95 value)

You will also receive 6 months subscription to Weight Watcher Magazine and a sneaker charm suitable for adding to your 10 percent key ring upon completion of the 5k.

I also want to be your local resource to make regular activity and other healthy behaviors a priority by setting weekly goals.

As your Weight Watcher Leader I cannot endorse a particular fitness organization, but as a Weight Watcher Member I participate in exercise routines at Butterfly Life. If any ladies are interested in what they have to offer please ask me.

I would like to extend an invitation from the co-owner of the Sunnyland Butterfly Life Location(couple doors down from Trader Joe's), Karla, who has provided a punch card for any female Weight Watcher Members who are participating in the Spring Fever Challenge. Another upcoming opportunity to improve your fitness and raise awareness is the annual Relay For Life. This 24 hour relay is held the second weekend of July here in downtown Bellingham. Weight Watchers is teaming up with Sunnyland Butterfly Life. By joining forces, we will have a larger presence at the relay. For interested participants Butterfly is extending a similar offer of 8 weeks for $59.00 (no contract, no joining fee) for any female weight watcher members that would like assistance in training for the relay.

Please contact Karla (360-671-0669) to sign up for the relay and schedule your relay position. We always appreciate those that like to relay throughout the night. :) Butterfly will have a 5th wheel trailer on site, that will provide you with a place to rest and represent our team. It won't just be a tent this year!! Hurray!

Also, Mr. Hungry has arrived. We are selling large dolls for $6.00 and the smaller magnet size for $4.00. Perfect for the front of the refrigerator.

These help with managing your environment, taking care of yourself and providing you with more self control.

Remember to look at your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and the threats to your weight loss journey (SWOT).

SFC Week 1 - 1st Trivia Question

This is your first trivia question of the Spring Fever Challenge!!!

The correct answers will be posted on Monday and Tuesday at the meeting center

Question 1:

***INTRODUCING***SPRING FEVER CHALLENGE***Monday/Tuesday Center Members

For those of you that would like to participate, please see me at check in for your Game Sheet!

Each challenge has a corresponding points value. These challenges are based on your Weight Watcher Program. This is a fun way to gauge your progress and increase your knowledge of the program.

Achieve your Goal and LOSE WEIGHT IN THE PROCESS!

You will be asked to mark your game sheets via the honor system and return them to me at the end of the 8 week challenge.

Prizes will be be drawn for first, second, and third places based on the total points calculated and earned.

Prizes include: A Super Relaxation Experience, The Ultimate Shoppers Basket, The True Blue Member Gift Set.

If this is as successful as I think it will be, we will do more of these and I will extend them to my "At Work" and Fairhaven Fitness Members in future.
